Ragdoll cats, like all domestic felines, require a comprehensive vaccination schedule to protect their health and wellbeing. Here’s an overview of the essential vaccinations for Ragdoll kittens and adults:

Kitten Vaccination Schedule:

6-8 weeks old:
- First dose of the Feline Distemper Combo vaccine (also called the FVRCP vaccine)
- First dose of the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) vaccine
10-12 weeks old:
- Second dose of the FVRCP vaccine
- Second dose of the FeLV vaccine
14-16 weeks old:
- Third dose of the FVRCP vaccine
- Third dose of the FeLV vaccine

Adult Cat Vaccination Schedule:

FVRCP Vaccine (Distemper Combo):
- Booster shot 1 year after the last kitten dose
- Then, a booster shot every 1-3 years
Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) Vaccine:
- Booster shot 1 year after the last kitten dose
- Then, annual boosters are recommended for cats at risk of exposure
Rabies Vaccine:
- First dose at 12-16 weeks old
- Booster 1 year later
- Then, a rabies shot every 1-3 years, depending on the vaccine type
